Happiness.

“In America, a parent puts food in front of a child and says, ‘Eat it, it’s good for you.’ In Europe, the parent says, ‘Eat it. It’s good! This wellknown quote is from John Levee in ‘Another Way of Living’, by John Bainbridge. I’d like to add, that in Asia the parent would say: ‘Eat it.’

However there is no better thing in the world for each parent just to see his healthy and good eating child.

What presents do our children prefer?

New advanced computer games, mobile phones, films, trips.
Huge parks with lots of interesting labyrinths, paths and merry-go-rounds, such as Disneyland – those are still a very big present for them. I know children that like very much a telescope given to them – every evening they watch the moon from their windows. Nevertheless, the old toys, that were well tried by time, yet please our babies. My 4 years old son again and again admires new wound up cars and planes. He also likes very much to build things from Lego. I found a site in the Internet that helps to build virtual palaces from virtual Lego, but still we should not forget to develop gross and fine and simple are indispensable for that. Books interest our children less than ever and it’s a pity to acknowledge that. For us the books were an important part of our lives, but now it is very difficult to get the child to read a book.
