The ban has been aproved by the Chicago City Council on a 48-0 vote and slated to take effect Jan. 31, 2010, spokeswoman for Mayor Richard M. Daley said.

“This is an important step in a landmark consumer protection initiative. This legislation will protect Chicago’s children and send a clear message to other jurisdictions considering similar legislation,” said Alderman Manny Flores, co-sponsor of the measure.
“We should err on the side of caution and not needlessly expose people to the harmful effects, especially children,” said Alderman Edward Burke, the measure’s other sponsor.

If you are going to start parents you perhaps think that your parenting will only starts after baby is born? But that’s not so and various current researches prove otherwise. Therefore from the moment you know you are pregnant it’s worth to start to stimulate and communicate with your baby. As far as researches found the time between conception and baby’s birth is very important for the basic architecture of the brain and build the foundations for his future potential.

According to Dr Thomas R. Verny, “Every minute, there are new brain cells being formed in the unborn child. And as the new brain cells are being formed, pathways or circuits are being formed along the lines that help assist communication for whatever the child the needs. For example, the child will obviously need to breathe, the child will need to move when he is born, the eyelids will need to open and close; so all these organs and all the nervous tissue that supply these organs has to start developing long before birth.
It’s the same thing with the brain circuits. The more you stimulate a child’s skin, or the more you stimulate its auditory nerves (hearing) the more those pathways will develop and become stronger so that when the child is born, he or she is better prepared for the world.”
You see? Actually it sounds fantastically just as a new life’s birth is still the divine mystery nobody can read.
There are tips allowing you to shape your child’s future today and I’m sure you know what I mean exactly, but however I’d like to repeat once again – converse with an unborn baby, talk to him (or her) like he or she is already present with you, sing him songs or whatever you want, think about baby, using daily experiences to prepare your baby for life after birth. Don’t worry about nothing; try to keep yourself out of stress or under control! The last sentence should become an everyday life gold rule just for everyone.

“I’ve been a head teacher 16 years and a teacher longer than that and I’ve never known anything like this”, Christine Jones, the head teacher of Bassetts Farm School said.
“There are sometimes more boys than girls in a class – and vice versa – but never all the same sex – it’s pretty incredible.
“It first became clear something unusual was happening when we got the list of names from the local authority – and there wasn’t a girl on it.

“Nobody can work out how it happened – it just seems to be a one of those freakish things.” It sounds funny but ‘ve thought that all nice boys look like born from the same egg!-) However that’s great deal to become egg donor to help all those couples who cannot have genetic children because may not have eggs that can be successfully fertilized. That’s like a chance to work wonders – new life!
One parent added: “Maybe it’s something in the local water.”
Daily Mail reported.

While your kid is teen you are thinking about college, kid is college student you are thinking about grad school, or an adult attending college or returning to college, anytime you think about their future, you try to help them to chose right way in the life. Also we don’t set aside in home tutoring, rather! Because we know exactly there is no another way than education to bring our children a better life and success in the future. An education is an extraordinarily profitable investment. Every dollar spent on a young man’s education produces $34.85 in increased lifetime income. Any Wall Street stockbroker would envy that kind of investment yield — especially these days.
Ans it’s no wonder that US President Bush and Education Secretary Margaret Spellings met with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Chancellor of Education Joel Klein to discuss how No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is producing positive results for students across the country and record high scores for minority students. Yesterday, the latest results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), or Nation’s Report Card, were released. The Report Card shows record results for our Nation’s students in reading and math. Scores are improving and achievement gaps are beginning to close.
• Chancellor Klein is strongly supportive of NCLB, calling it “one of the great bipartisan compromises in education” and praising its “focus on accountability.” With the support of Mayor Bloomberg, he’s made tough decisions that are getting great results in closing the achievement gap and raising achievement for New York City students.
• As the positive results from our Nation’s Report Card show, children can learn when standards are set high and results are measured.
• The President calls on Congress to reauthorize NCLB and give our teachers, parents, and children the educational tools they need. Now is not the time to water down standards, or roll back accountability and options for parents.
